half a year old.

Well, I can't believe it. Annie is half a year old. Went by fast, right? I made a dish out of Pioneer Woman's new cookbook last night. Peach Whiskey Chicken. Enough said.

I also had Mom, Dad, and Will over for dinner. Mom was babysitting Patrick so he got to come along for Annie's 6 month birthday gathering.

Annie was very excited, she likes Patrick.

It's crazy that they are only 3 months apart. She's gaining on him. Can you believe they used to look likes this?

Milestones for Annie:

She has now tried squash, carrots, and sweet potatoes and liked. Tried peas and green beans and did NOT like. The first and second time she tried the "greens" she spit them at me. Seriously, I got some on my face. Third time, which was today with Mom, she started gagging. Doctor says I need to disguise them; so that is what I am going to do. Will try again soon mixed with other baby food.

Still sleeping like a champ and as of late, we lay her down (awake), give her a blanket, sometimes a pacifier, say "I love you" and our prayers, and shut the door. She doesn't make a peep (which worries me) so I go in to check within 5 minutes and she is sacked out. How did this happen. She is such a great baby. We love her and we are thankful that God has blessed us with her. She is a perfect child of God.

Love this child of mine.

Life is full of slobbery kisses.

rangers fan :)

Mommy and Daddy are so happy that Annie is going to be a Rangers fan. I can't wait to see her face when we take her to the ballpark for the first time this year.

a good man.

This world lost a good man yesterday. We love you and will miss you greatly Uncle David. I will miss your big bear hugs, your humor, and the way you could always make me smile. I know you are feeling better and happy to be with God. I will see you again one day!

Spring time.

Spring time in Charlie is so beautiful. The wild plum blossoms smell amazing, the peach trees put off the prettiest pink bloom, and the weather is so peaceful. I am excited for the nice weather. I think Annie is too :)

She also loved her new little bonnet I got her at Zara.

Today Gus read a letter by Cardinal Timothy Dolan which is being called the Liberty Letter. I urge you to go read it if you have a few minutes.

Here is the link. PLEASE go read.

I beleive in this. I pray for our counties religous freedom everyday.

Blessings to you,

our weekend

Ms. Annie is growing so fast. I say that every post and I am sure you will get tired of it. Apologizes now.

She can now sit all by her self. No help needed.

She is grabbing everything in sight. Eating rice cereal like a champ. Able to pick up a sippy cup and put it in her mouth.(although she can't quite figure out how to get the water out of it...soon, very soon.)

I think adults underestimate how smart babies are. I know Annie is young but I have to remind myself to let her try things for herself, more times than not she surprises me and what she can do. This phase is fun. It soon will pass so I try to soak as much up as I can. This is something that Ryan and I will ALWAYS have to remember. -Let her try things for herself!!

She is also able to ride in the stroller like a big girl! No more car seats for this baby. *clarification- she uses a car seat in the car but no longer has to ride in one attached to the stroller.

I think she enjoyed it. :)

These are from the phone. I am going to try to upload some from the camera tonight. Talk to you soon.
