We (Ryan) finally got around to child proofing the cabinets the other night and it was the sweetest thing watching Annie trying to help her daddy. She loved the drill and I love all the excited and concentrated faces she makes while helping.
Here are a few words that a co-worker shared with me. I think it speaks loudly of what our society is like today. Everyone wants no Authority and everything the easiest way. Yet God did not tell us that following him was ever going to be easy. Believe in Him. He is the reason for the season.
Christianity has not been tried and found wanting; it has
been found difficult and not tried. - G K Chesterton.
The danger when men stop believing in God is not that they
believe in nothing, but that they will believe in anything.- G.K. Chesterton.
Annie has been really tired and has not had much of an appetite so the other night I decided to give her a favorite food for dinner, peas. Ryan and I can not stand sweet peas but Annie loves them! She ate probably 4 spoonfuls and little bit of a banana so I decided to treat her with a sucker.
She is such a ham. Needless to say she LOVED the grape tootsie roll sucker.
I would say one of Annie's favorite things is playing on Ryan and I's bed. She jumps, flies into pillows, rolls, and laughs the entire time she is on the bed. She also (occasionally, not always) likes books. On this particular day she was so content being on Mom's bed and reading a touch and feel book upside down. I am so thankful for our cheerful baby.
We had a little extra time last week to take some pictures for our Christmas cards and before we attempted ours as a family I took some of Annie. Between Jessica and the dogs behind me I was able to get some good ones of her smiling with her new top teeth!
